First Aid
Anchor Training is a RYA Training Centre, recognised to run RYA First Aid courses. The courses can be run at any appropriate venue, subject to approval.

RYA First Aid Course. (£85)
This is a one day training course that covers the basic knowledge needed by instructors and volunteers working within watersports. It is approved by both the HSE and MCA. The course involves students practising the application of dressings and bandages, also how to administer CPR. Due to the nature of the course, cold shock, drowning and hypothermia are obviously covered. This course is suitable for all those who will be working upto 60 nautical miles from a safe haven. The training is kept as practical as possible to aid students learning these new skills.
This is also an excellent first aid course for people who are not involved in watersports, but would like to know what to do in an emergency. The current First Aid manual is included in the course fee.
